I have returned, to this shop, after a three-year hiatus, while my new equipment warranty ran out. During that time I learned that new car dealer service is not as anticipated. There were a few serious disappointments, but the funniest one was when I was instructed that a new oil change did not need to be filled to the full line, but only to the add line. Of course that saves every dealer about a leader per oil change while under warranty for a lot of new equipment. I think a senior lad, such as I have noticed for the last 50 years at Carmichael?s may take exception to the above oil business. Our reacquaintance lives up to my past expectations. |

They provide fair and honest auto repairs -- on this occasion on my alternator/battery for my 14 year old Honda Accord; I just wish they had caught the issue 2 weeks earlier (when I brought the car in for a safety check), but I recognize that the safety may not have alerted them to the electrical issue. They have many loyal customers, so at times they may get busy -- but even so, they will try to fit you in while you wait. Brian, Kingston |

We brought our vehicle in and advised of what we thought was the issue, instead, we ended up paying $4000 and did not solve the problem. The problem was what we initially thought, so we paid $4000 for something we did not need to do at this time. |
